    Day 1Hometown / Shanghai (China)

    Fly with China Eastern Airlines from Vancouver to Shanghai. Start your worry-free vacation with our Canadian Tour Leader. 

    Day 2Arrive in Shanghai

    Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Shanghai, explore Pudong Development Zone and take a closer look at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. After dinner, transfer to the hotel. (D)

    After breakfast, tour the Yuyuan Bazaar, Old Street of City God Temple, then visit the silk factory. Take a stroll along the Bund and visit the famous Nanjing Road shopping street. Huangpu River Night Cruise could be arranged as an optional tour at night (US$50.00 pp to be paid locally). (B / L / D)

    Day 4Shanghai / Tokyo (Japan) (B)

    After breakfast, transfer to Shanghai Airport to Tokyo. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. 

    Day 5Tokyo (B / L / SD)

    After breakfast, explore Tokyo’s oldest temple, Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji Temple). After that, enjoy breathtaking views of the city from the Tokyo Skytree Observation Deck. Following lunch, visit the Tokyo National Museum, the Imperial Palace and its East Garden, and the iconic Nijubashi Bridge. In the evening, gather for a Yakiniku (Traditional Japanese style BBQ) Welcome Dinner, where you can savor a variety of premium grilled meats and vegetables, cooked right at your table. (B / L / SD)

    Day 6Tokyo ~ Hakone ~ Mt. Fuji ~ Shizuoka (B / L / D)

    This morning, we’ll set off for Hakone, where you will enjoy a tranquil cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a charming pirate boat. As you sail, take in the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and, on clear days, catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Fuji. After lunch, drive to Mt. Fuji 5th Station (weather permitting) to experience stunning panoramic views from the highest point accessible by vehicle. Return to the hotel after dinner. (B / L / D)

    Day 7Shizuoka ~ Nagoya (B / L / SD)

    In the morning, take a 2.5-hour bus ride to Nagoya. Start with a visit to the majestic Nagoya Castle for a group photo at this iconic landmark. Then visit Osu Kannon Temple and wander through Osu Shopping Street, a bustling arcade with over 400 shops and restaurants. After lunch, head to the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology to discover the fascinating history of Japan’s automotive industry. This evening, indulge in a delightful Sukiyaki Dinner, a Japanese hot pot dish of beef, vegetables, tofu, and noodles simmered in a sweet sauce. (B / L / SD)

    Day 8Nagoya ~ Kyoto (B / L)

    After breakfast, take a 2-hour bus ride from Nagoya to Kyoto. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its iconic red torii gates. Experience a Traditional Tea Ceremony, then explore the historic Gion district and Hanami-koji Street, where you might catch a glimpse of geikos (Kyoto’s term for geisha) or maikos (geiko apprentices) in traditional attire. Dinner at your arrangement. (B / L)

    Day 9Kyoto (B / L / WD)

    This morning, explore the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and walk across the picturesque Togetsu Bridge. Next, visit the stunning Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion). End the day with a Western Dinner. (B / L / WD)

    Day 10Kyoto ~ Nara ~ Kobe (B / SL)

    After breakfast, take a short ride to Nara, where you will explore the friendly deer in Nara Deer Park. Stroll through the charming streets of the Naramachi area, known for its well-preserved traditional buildings. Then, participate in a fun Sushi-making Class and savor your creations for lunch.  After lunch, head to Kobe for a visit to the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, where you can learn about sake brewing and enjoy a Sake Tasting Experience.  (B / SL)

    Day 11Kobe ~ Hiroshima ~ Kobe (B)

    Board the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Hiroshima in the morning to visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum . Afterward, take a ferry to Miyajima Island to explore the historic Itsukushima Shrine and see the famous floating torii gate. Return to Kobe by Bullet Train in the late afternoon. (B)

    Day 12Kobe ~ Osaka (B / L / SD)

    Today, start your day by visiting Kobe Harbourland, a picturesque waterfront area, and take in panoramic views from the Kobe Port Tower Observation Deck. After lunch, head to Osaka to explore Kuromon Market and Dotonbori District, famous for its eye-catching signage and billboards. Spend some leisure time shopping and sampling local street foods. In the evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner featuring Japanese Beef. (B / L / SD)

    Day 13Osaka / Busan (Korea) (By Air) (B / L / SD)

    After breakfast, transfer to Osaka Kansai International Airport and fly to Busan. Upon arrival meet your local guide. Your day starts with a visit to the Gamcheon Culture Village. Continue to the Busan International Film Festival Square, then explore Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea’s largest seafood market with a lively atmosphere and a vast array of fresh seafood. End the day with a delightful Hanjeongsik Welcome Dinner. (B / L / SD)

    Today, explore Haedong Yonggungsa Temple for breathtaking ocean views and take a leisurely walk along Haeundae Beach and enjoy a ride on the Haeundae Coastal Train. After that, visit Oryukdo Skywalk for panoramic sea views, then explore Taejongdae Cliff.  End the day with a local Korean dinner. (B / L / D)

    Day 15Busan ~ Gyeongju ~ Ansan (B / SL / D)

    After breakfast, drive to Gyeongju to discover two UNESCO World Heritage sites: Seokguram Grotto, a cave temple with a stunning Buddha statue, and Bulguksa Temple, noted for its beautiful architecture and gardens. Enjoy a Buffet Lunch at Ashley Restaurant. Continue your journey to Ansan. End your day with a local Korean Dinner. (B / SL / D)

    Day 16Gyeongju ~ Seoul (B / L)

    After breakfast, visit the DMZ Area in the morning to experience the Third Tunnel and learn about the world’s most famous divided border. Enjoy a Seafood Steamboat lunch, then visit the War Memorial of Korea and N Seoul Tower (observatory not included). Enjoy the Painter’s Show (or Nanta). Dinner is at your arrangement. (B / L)

    This morning, visit Gyeongbokgung Palace where you can dress in traditional hanbok. Enjoy a Ginseng Chicken Soup Lunch. Then explore the National Folk Museum and Bukchon Hanok Village. Enjoy a Special Farewell Korean BBQ Dinner and explore Myeongdong Night Market before going back to the hotel. (B / L / SD)

    Day 18Seoul / Hometown (via Shanghai) (B)

    This morning, you will transfer to Incheon International Airport to depart for Canada via Shanghai and arrive home on the same day. (B)
